For this course (CS220 – Scripting Language) final project, we were given a design that is randomly selected for us to create an e-commerce website. The front-end was created by the design student while we Computer Science students will manage the back-end. The e-commerce website is based on Batik Lansem for Pusaka Beruang. This project is worth 30% of the final grade. The design we received provided the basic website without cart design, thus we look for a free source template that suite and appropriate for our theme.

Minimum Requirements (SCOPE)

• Inputting the assets to the free source template.
• We should use PHP framework on CodeIgniter.
• Provide primary navigation bar (menu), may be in image map or as a table of images, text or buttons.
• Provide help & login pages.
• Provide user registration form.
• Provide login/user authorization table in a database.
• Provide administrator page(s).
• Provide shopping cart.
• Contain title tag to create an appropriate title in every page.
• Use appropriate href and/or  alt (if image) tags for each menu item.Form contain space for name, address, phone, email, gender, etc.
• Utilize the image object and the onMouseOver event or other event to dynamically change images.
• Define styles using css and use them to give attributes to some html elements.
• Use a JavaScript function (at least 2 scripts).
• Use form elements such as text and selection boxes to gather user input/preferences.
• Use the date object to write the date from the server (you could put anywhere on your web).
• Create an inventory table in a database.
• Display inventory by category upon request from the main page

Login

• With this function, user will be able to do transaction without the needs to input user’s information the second time after register their details.

Cart

• User will be able to put their inquiries into the shopping cart that will be provided for the transaction
• After client has approve the inquiries by transfer and send the payment confirmation slip, Administrator can see the inquiries in the admin panel and proceed with the delivery.

Database

• Administrator will have the privilege to edit the stocks.
• The e-commerce will be in sync to the database of the stocks
